We're Aoife & Stef, a family owned Australian outdoor brand on a mission to make the great outdoors more comfortable, without lugging half your house out the door. It started simply: we wanted a compact camping chair that was actually easy to carry. Not a flimsy fold-up that collapses under you, and not a fortress of steel tubing that takes up your whole boot. The Old Mate Original was born from that idea, road-tested and only released once we were genuinely stoked with what we had.
