Old Mate Camping Co. stands behind the quality of every product we make. This manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty
Old Mate Camping Co. warrants that your Old Mate chair is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and covers faults that originate from how the product was made.
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects — faults in materials or workmanship originating from the production process, such as a faulty frame, joint, seam or hardware that fails under normal use
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- General wear and tear, including fabric fading, abrasion, scuffing and the natural ageing of materials
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, or neglect
- Damage caused by use outside the product's intended purpose, or beyond its 150kg load capacity
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, marks) that does not affect function
- Products that have been modified or repaired by anyone other than Old Mate Camping Co.
- Damage from exposure to extreme conditions beyond normal outdoor use
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Email us at hello@oldmatecampingco.com.au with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos clearly showing the defect
- We will respond within 2 business days to assess your claim
- If your claim is approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion
- We will cover all return shipping costs for approved warranty claims
Duration
This warranty lasts for the lifetime of your Old Mate, for the original purchaser. It applies to every Old Mate chair purchased from Old Mate Camping Co. since we launched, including orders placed before this policy was updated. Please keep your receipt or order confirmation as proof of purchase.
