Warranty Policy

Old Mate Camping Co. stands behind the quality of every product we make. This manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty

Old Mate Camping Co. warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase. This is a manufacturer's warranty covering faults that originate from how the product was made.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects — faults in materials or workmanship originating from the production process

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, or neglect
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by use outside the product's intended purpose
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, marks) that does not affect function
  • Products that have been modified or repaired by anyone other than Old Mate Camping Co.
  • Damage from exposure to extreme conditions beyond normal outdoor use

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Email us at hello@oldmatecampingco.com.au with:
    • Your order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Photos clearly showing the defect
  2. We will respond within 2 business days to assess your claim
  3. If your claim is approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion
  4. We will cover all return shipping costs for approved warranty claims

Duration

This warranty is valid for 12 months from the date shown on your original purchase receipt or order confirmation.

This warranty does not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies provided under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
